Bruises and hematomas should be treated starting with the 3rd day after the trauma.

⚠️ Important Timing: Bruises and hematomas should be treated starting with the 3rd day after the trauma.
Treatment immediately after the trauma may result in increased bleeding and hematoma formation. Within the first two days after trauma, local cold procedures should be used.
